Canyon party send off

Back in August Chan's family, mainly all the Gilbert side, met up the canyon for a celebration. We were celebrating his aunt Connie's retirement, his aunt Jenny's birthday as well as the send off for his Grandma and Grandpa Gilbert who would be moving to Arizona. His family chooses the canyon for get togethers because it is beautiful this time of year but it's also easier for all involved since there's really no cleanup etc! :) And this one pretty much everyone showed up to see Grandma and Grandpa! It was awesome!

 We didn't do a lot other than visit with each other, sing happy birthday and eat some food, but it was a fun time.

I snagged this shot of Grandma and Grandpa as they left. Aren't they just sweet! We are sure going to miss having them around! They are the BEST cheerleaders at games & concerts with the kiddos. But we know they are going to LOVE being down south with that part of the Gilbert family! We love you!
