SOUTH CAROLINA ROCKS!!

Well to say we had fun in South Carolina is an understatement! We did so much stuff in such a short amount of time! And the best part was spending time with family! The kids really miss their cousins and so being able to spend a whole week with them doing all kinds of fun things was great. In the photo slide show there is the following photos: the kids on the plane en route to our fun filled vacation, Chan and the kids on the beach right after we arrived in Folly Beach, the kids in Charleston with the bridge in the background, the kids and some of their cousins at the aquarium, the family at Fort Sumter, me and Carter taking a wave in the ocean, Will in the ocean, Brianne buried in the sand, the view from our beach house, our family on the Yorktown aircraft carrier, and Chan and the kids in the ocean. All those pics tell the story of all the things we did while we were there. There is tons of history in that area that we took in as well as the beautiful beach in Folly. We were also able to play lots of Wii sports, mainly golf, which Chan mastered while we were there, and we also played lots of games and enjoyed many great meals together. So chalk this one up as a fabulous time!! We can't wait for the next trip with the whole gang!!

Our weekend getaway was wonderful!! Thanks to a wonderful set of parents who share their boat with us! We had so much fun and always do when we are out boating- how can you go wrong with such beautiful surroundings!! Thanks Mom and Dad!!














Our kids turn into fish when they are at the lake! They literally never want to get out of the water! Of course it is much cooler when you do that, but in their case I don't think that's why they spend so much time in the water! They just love to swim and have water fights! Of course dunking contests are always part of the water playing experience!! And just because your Papa or Gamma does not mean your not included!


















Papa and Gamma are always in on the fun too! But I have to say in this photo it looks like Papa might be losing the fight with Carter and Kota, but either way they had fun! I do have to say though that dunking is more challenging when your wearing your life jacket! Oh well- it won't stop any of us from giving it a try!!














Here is Carter coming over to "save" Gamma! That's Gamma's trick- she pretends like she's saving you only to dunk you hard into the water! It seems that Carter has caught on a bit and isn't quite falling for it anymore! I think that he was actually trying to "save" her in this picture!















Little Brianne sure has gotten brave too! She used to be a bit afraid of jumping off the boat, but now she is doing cool jumps! Here she is doing her "star" jump! On this trip she even jumped off the side of Papa's boat! You go girl!!

THE KIDS ARE SOOOOOOOOO EXITED TO HAVE THE NEW TRUCK! EVEN MORE THAN WE ARE BECAUSE THEY NOW CAN HAVE EXTRA SPACE, ENOUGH CUP HOLDERS FOR ALL OF THEM AND EVEN ENOUGH PLUGS FOR ALL THEIR "STUFF"!! WE CAN'T WAIT TO HIT THE ROAD THIS WEEKEND AND TRY IT OUT! SO OFF WE GO........ SEE YOU IN A FEW DAYS!!

These are our cute pets! Our dog is Chloe and our cat is Daisy. We have had Chloe for 4 years and Daisy for almost a year. When we first brought Daisy home they didn't get along at all, but after a few months they came around and now they are quite a riot! they play all the time- they will "attack" each other and wrestle around- it's really funny! We also have a 50 gallon fish tank that we love! We are definitely a pet loving family! :)

Well we have some news in our family! We had a really fun visit by Tammy who spent a oouple of days hanging with us and the kids. We spent time with the kids, ate out at a REALLY great buger joint, and did lots of chatting! And we also went down and sold Tam's truck to carmax and she bought our Jeep liberty! The reason mainly because we bought a Ford excursion!! It's not exactly "ours" yet, but we should have it soon! We are very exited! So thanks to Tam for coming- we had a blast!! Hope you did too!!

Carter 12th Birthday Shots

So here's Brianne under water this week at her diving lessons! I told her earlier that Brianne had not yet jump off the diving board- well leave it up to a total stranger (the diving teacher) to get her up there and help her DIVE off! It's amazing what kids will do! She is still working on the diving, but the jumping off is a piece of cake now! She LOVES it!!














Here is Will under water this week too! He is also taking diving lessons and I knew he would pick it up quick! Yesterday he was stinkin it up and today he was doing a jump dive! I am proud of him- he has improved a ton! But his favorite thing to do is still to jump off wearing his goggles- not a surprise!



Here is Carter under water too! I had him swim toward me as I was taking the shot so it turned out really cool! Carter is taking the diving classes too and he is definately the winner of the most improved diver!! Chan and I and others have been trying to teach him to dive for YEARS and he could never do it! He would always end up jumping in that diving position you make before you jump off!! But now he can jump dive and is doing really great! They all still have another week of lessons to go so I can only imagine how great they'll be when they are done! I will try to get some action shots soon!!





GO CARTER GO!!

Here is Chan and his newest addition "the Baja"!! This car has a chainsaw motor in it so yeah it's a bit loud!! And he and his shop buddies have made signifigant improvements to it so it is quite the car! His new hobby is giving him tons of enjoyment and the big bonus is he has made some new friends too! And not only that he has involved the boys a lot in it too- they even went to the sand dunes a few weks ago to drive their cars! (Yes Will has one too and Carter shares with his Dad's many vehicles) I am glad that he has found something fun to do in his spare time- I just hope he makes room in the garage! (which he promised me he would!) So go Chan!! VROOM VROOM!!
