Last Friday evening we heard our doorbell ring at about 9:30pm and I was wondering who it could be when I opened the door and saw this in our yard!

Carter's team Mom had gone around to all the boys homes and "decorated" their front yard with a sign and some streamers! It was a fun surprise so I called Carter out to get a shot of him with his sign! Now notice- there is nothing on the ground aside from a few leaves- it was windy and cold- but that was it! (I know you can't tell by what he is wearing, but we weren't out there very long!)

Will and I were the first ones to the field Saturday morning! Chan was still out of town (he got home just in time to see the 2nd and 3rd quarters of Will's game before heading off to Carter's) so Kathy helped me get Carter and Brianne to the field. That morning I did some "war paint" on all the boys before their game!

The sun was still out and it was only about 25 degrees and they game began- but the sky was looking very ominous!

It wasn't long before THIS began- yes that's right.......SNOW!!! We were very lucky to avoid it up to this point, but man it sure hit hard! Will's game was intense and was tied 7 to 7 at the half.

It only got more intense as the weather got more intense!! It was an all out battle and even went into overtime!

But in the end they lost in overtime 7 to 13........ it was a tough loss, but up until that game they had won every single game!! So they went away with their heads held high!

So you would think that with weather like this cheerleaders wouldn't show up right? Well.........

you were WRONG!!! yes that is the cheerleaders under the tent! On occasion they would wander out into the snow to do their cheers! Talk about troopers!!

I was so proud of Brianne this year and her cheer leading- she really does a great job and it has been sooooo fun to watch her do it!

This was a shot of her under the tent during half time! She was pretty darn cold!

Check out the wind........ see how bad the flag is blowing? Yeah so fun!!!!

After the half it got even worse- my camera lens wouldn't stop fogging up!! But I liked this shot because it shows the helmet sticker the team mom got for the team just for the playoffs- it says United!

The snow was blowing just crazy and Carter's game was just as intense and Will's but because of the weather was even more extreme. It's tough to play in this kind of weather!!!

His game was an all out battle as well, and they made a few crucial mistakes that got Bingham on top.

But they didn't give up and got within 5 points and were trying their hardest to get one more touchdown for the win!

Unfortunately they came up short- this was their huddle after losing the game. They played well and had a great season!!

I just had to get these last two shots in- this one is of Gamma Kathy lending Will some gloves and a hat after his game so he could endure the cold!

And this is a shot of some die hard fans!!! That's right- Gamma Kathy and Papa Tom enduring the freezing cold weather to watch their grand kids! Aren't they the BEST!!! What a great season we've had!! GO HAWKS!!
