This past weekend it was time for a preseason scrimmage! We were playing South Summit and that's a pretty good drive north east of here (about an hour) and it was HOT! Thank heavens for water jugs!
We were playing a much bigger team but we had been practicing hard and we were ready to try out what we had learned! It was a rough start, mainly confusion about which boys were playing red or black offense or defense and things like that.
Carter was right there on the sidelines anxiously waiting to give advice when necessary! He did this a lot during tryout week as well! He wants his brother to do well.... and I love it!
Will is a lover of defense! If you listen (when he's fired up) you'll HEAR him from the sidelines! He will grunt and make all kinds of noise! He sure broke through well here!
They played hard and the coaches, including Chan, were glad to have gotten some of those mistakes out early! The next few practices they made sure everyone knew their part! They are a great group of boys! The fought hard and got the win! We Can't wait to see their next game! Bring it on!
